Richard Masandika - Coordinator
Richard Masandika is the Coordinator of SHIWAKUTA, an engineer by profession who brings over 35 years of experience in the agricultural sector. Throughout his academic and professional career, he has built an extensive network and developed strong collaborations both nationally and internationally.
Mr Richard Masandika has been fully committed to realising the organisation’s vision. Under his leadership, SHIWAKUTA has evolved into a participatory platform that brings together diverse stakeholders, including small-scale producers, community leaders, development partners, and policy makers, all working toward the common goal of promoting inclusive and sustainable agriculture in the country
Damian J. Sulumo - Programs Officer
Damian Sulumo is a Program Officer at SHIWAKUTA, a professional with over 20 years of experience in the agricultural sector, both within and outside of SHIWAKUTA, possessing expertise in economics, information technology, and agriculture. He brings over 20 years of experience in the agricultural sector, both within and outside the country.
He is responsible for the planning and implementation of various SHIWAKUTA projects. His strong ability in strategic planning and project management is significantly contributed to the organisation’s success in promoting agricultural development and improving the livelihoods of its members and smallholder producers.
Daniel Elibariki – Finance and Administration Officer
CPA. Daniel Elibariki a qualified accountant who is serving as the SHIWKAUTA finance and Admin officer. He has fostered growth for SHIWAKUTA by creating a strong and diligent financial system for the organization.
His leadership has been instrumental in establishing a strong, transparent, and efficient financial system that supports SHIWAKUTA’s long-term sustainability and impact.
Thomas Laiser - Policy and Advocacy Officer
Thomas Laiser, a farmer, agriculture elite, and a guru in the sector for over 30 years, who now serves as the Policy and Advocacy Officer of SHIWAKUTA, a professional in community development, has been a committed member since the organization’s inception. His experience in small-scale farming and dealing with farmers has helped him to play a pivotal role in shaping and disseminating key policy information, which has successfully influenced several changes of policy by the government, reflecting his significant impact on advocacy and policy development within the sector.
Hosiana Margwe - Communication Officer
Hosiana Margwe is the Communication Officer at SHIWAKUTA. Hosiana is a professional in the media scene (Journalism) with a vast understanding and experience in the media industry in Tanzania. She is responsible for collecting, documenting, and managing all organisational information and activities, ensuring timely and effective dissemination through various social media platforms. Her work is to enhance the organisation’s visibility and strengthen engagement with stakeholders.
