From February 13th to 15th 2025, SHIWAKUTA successfully conducted a capacity building training on Leadership, Lobbying and Advocacy for members of the Associations of Smallholder Farmers, Pastoralists and Fisherfolk in Katavi region (JUWAWAKA).

Training held at Mpimbwe District Council, Majimoto the area in Katavi region.These Training sessions are part of an ongoing series organized by SHIWAKUTA for its members across various regions of the country.

In addition to leadership, lobbying, and advocacy training, the training also aims to strengthen members’ capacity in environmental conservation through a project implemented by SHIWAKUTA in collaboration with FAO
