On October 3^rd to 4^th, 2024, SHIWAKUTA organized the National Land Rights Dialogue for Sustainable Production at the African Dreams Hotel in Dodoma. Dialogue aimed to enhance understanding and address land issues among farmers and livestock keepers. SHIWAKUTA serves as a platform for farmers, pastoralists, and fishers to raise their concerns for sustainable growth, making this dialogue timely for farmers seeking clarity on land rights.

The event is honored by the presence of Rachel Kaduma, Director from the Office of the President’s Office Department of Village and Urban Growth.

The dialogue brought together representatives from key government ministries, including the Ministry of Lands, the Ministry of Agriculture, and the Ministry of Livestock and Fisheries, as well as legal experts, development partners, and other key institutions in the agricultural sector, all with the capacity and expertise to contribute valuable insights.
